After a great hike at Stony Bay, we headed south through Coromandel Town to just north of Thames, in Tararu. The park we stayed in had an amazing Butterfly and Orchid Garden. There are three special little girls I know who would have LOVED to be here!!! Saga, Disa, and Peri~these photos are for you!!! And Anna, these are for you when you get just a wee bit older... All of the photos here are REAL butterflies, girls... and they are about the size of my hand! They also had some pretty birds and caterpillars. Had to take a photo of the permanent resident 'Sprite Camper' with the beautiful backdrop...
