HOT WATER BEACH, OTAMA, AND OPITA...

Still trying to beat the rain, we made it out from under the clouds today!  We traveled north on the east coast of Coromandel to Hot Water Beach.  Its an amazing spot where, at low tide, if you are in the right spot, and you have the will to dig~you can dig a natural hot tub for yourself in the sand!  As we discovered, you can if you are willing to compete with the masses of tourists with the same plan in mind.  We are still trying to get away from the masses, not quite over New York City yet...
Otama and Opita were quaint little beach towns as we drove north.
