HAWKE’S BAY WINE COUNTRY...

So... after hitting the volcanoes and hiking pretty hard, we figured that we deserved a thorough investigation into wine country in Hawke’s Bay.  We started out in the neighboring towns of Hastings and Napier known for their Art Deco Architecture.  Without wasting much time we headed on to the vineyards, thoroughly enjoying ourselves.
We found a farm stall selling fruit and veggies that had an unmanned honesty box for payment of said fruit and veggies that you might take—we are so far from Brooklyn right now!  We had a swank dinner at Craggy Range Winery, I used to sell that wine at Gramercy Tavern all the time.  Larry, Mom, Cindy and Dee, I took a photo of the Bowman Building for you... Your people are here!  And finally, one thing I really love about this place, the coastline property is mostly inhabited by residents in campers—permanent campers.  You don’t have to be ridiculously wealthy to have the most prime of properties...
